6die Abstimmung Antiphanes aus (dem Demos) Euonymon;
7Demades S.d. Demeas aus (dem Demos) Paiania stellte den Antrag:
8zu Glück und Heil des Volkes der Athener,
9wolle beschließen das Volk: Da wohlwollend
10ist - -ios S.d. Andromenes aus - - -
11gegenüber dem Volk der Athener - - -
12sich annimmt der Athener, die
13Philipp besuchen, und dabei
14Gutes tut nach Kräften den Athenern
15bei Philipp, dass er sei Proxenos und
16Wohltäter des Volkes der Athener,
17er selbst und seine Nachkommen, und
18sich seiner annehme der Rat und
19die Generäle, wann immer es nötig ist;
20dass dieses Proxenie-Dekret aufzeichne auf
21eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle der Sekre-
22tär, der während der Prytanien amtiert, auf der
23Akropolis; für die Aufzeichnung auf
24der Stele soll der Schatzmeister dreißig

2In the archonship of Phrynichos (337/6), in the
3tenth prytany, of Pandionis, for which
4Chairestratos son of Ameinias of Acharnai
5was secretary. Of the presiding committee
6Antiphanes of Euonymon was putting to the vote.
7Demades son of Demeas of Paiania proposed:
8for the good fortune of the Athenian People,
9the People shall decide: since
10-os son of Andromenes of - is well disposed
11towards the Athenian People [and now?]
12takes care of Athenians
13visiting Philip, doing
14what good is in his power for the Athenians
15with Philip, he shall be proxenos and
16benefactor of the Athenian People,
17himself and his descendants, and
18the Council shall take care of him, and the generals,
19whatever may be needed;
20and the prytany secretary shall inscribe
21the proxeny on a stone stele
22and stand it on the acropolis;
23and for inscribing the
24stele let the treasurer give thirty
25drachmas, according to the law.
